Default Bull Bar / Light Bar for Sport

Hi all. My first post with my newest Dodge. I just bought a 1999 RAM truck 1500 Sport 5.9L to go along with my 2006 Dodge Charger R/T.

I'm sure every knows about the new car mod-fever. There's only one cure, spend money.

What I've been researching is a Bull Bar / Light Bar for the Sport edition. Everthing says "except for 1999 Sport". I really like the Bull Bars.

Anyone got any leads?

I researched old post and couldn't find an answer.
Thx

I think the only reason they say that is because it will hit on the body molding on the front... you could always cut it out of the way

The sport editions actually use a different mounting bracket for the bumpers, and different bumpers, which is why no one makes bull bars, grille gaurds, or the such for sport editions. If you want any you will need to make custom brackets or convert to a regular bumper, but than you will also have to change grilles, as they are a different hieght than the sport edition. On sports, the headlights are also different.

Yours fit because they made in 200 and 01' optional tow hooks, and they also used the same bumper brackets as a normal ram. so for a 99, you will have to make a custom bracket. unless you have the factory tow hooks with the sport bumper, you will need to switch to regular bumpper or make a bracket. trust me, i've learned all this after trying to get one for myself.
