Default Want to dump my exhaust

Truck used to have dual ewent exhaust on it until the truck own a really bumped road and the exhaust hangers broke. So i bought a new exhaust the stock one and clamped it on from the muffler back so now i want to take it off and just leave the muffler and when i need to get it inspected in 2 more years throw it back on. But the problem is i clamped it on pretty tight and having a hard time getting it off. any advice to pull it out?

for the laws it all depends on how "up tight" the cop is... If you look at the laws there is a huge loop hole. in one paragraph it states that your not allowed to do Anything to modify a vehicle that is not standard equipment from the factory. and then a couple paragraphs later it states that modification can be made as long as they are under curtain decibels or lights are at certain hights and stuff like that...... so pretty much just dont get pulled over by the rookie cop or the one who's old lady wouldnt put out last night.

Seriously, how many cops are going to get on the ground and look under your vehicle? As far as loud, as long as your nut putting the pedal to the floor when you go past a cop I don't think it would ever raise suspecion unless you're running straight headers or something. The loudest of gasoline trucks are still usually quieter than any diesel out there, or motorcylce.
