I don't know how todays high stall converters work with lockup and such. But I do know that old school converters are effective in certain applications. I'd think you'd want about a 3000 stall in the truck with 4:10s.
High stall converters also put out a lot of heat, and tend to kill top end acceleration in street driving.

This is what I was talking about, all it will do is help get your RPM's up right before launch which should help with take off...

idk, just something to get up and go. Kinda feels like a dog on the low end compared to the top.
That line lock is interesting but id just like to see what i can to shift my power more across my board i guess.
I guess the best way of asking is: are there any other mods i could do that work on the low end.

you have done to the truck.
Not to sound like a jerk (yes I know I come off that way at times) but your going to have to
choose whether you want that 210x cam or low end, you can't have both. If you really do
want to put that cam into your truck then roll with it and take the advice of picking up a
2400 or 2500 stall converter. I think that combo you'll be hauling some @$$, but if you want
low end your going to have to choose a different route. Your at that point in your truck build
where you have to decide whether to go one way or the other, just my 2 cents.
My first question to you is whether that list of mods posted earlier is a complete list of what
you have done to the truck.
