Default What was your first vehicle?

I've been curious to know what everyone on here's first vehicle was, before they got their ram, or perhaps your ram is all you've ever had? Tell us! This should be interesting. I'll start.

My first vehicle was when I was 16 years old, had a 1989 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat Extended Cab 4x4. Yeah, it was a piece of crap ford, but boy did I have fun off roading the **** out of it. Frame eventually split, among other major problems and traded it in. So I guess I've been a truck guy from the start =)

my current truck. Although it is fixing to get retired to the status of farm truck from daily driver.

My truck has been through hell and back, but it has never ever ever left me stranded.

1981 Buick Skylark with a 2.8L V6. When you started it in the morning it blew blue smoke and ran on 3 cylinders until it warmed up, and always had the check engine light on. It had no paint on the roof, and the AC sounded like a jackhammer when it ran. It still worked, though. It also had no exhaust after the cat.

It was a classy ride.

1979 Ford Mustang. It had 70k on it when my dad bought it for $400. It had had a mild engine fire, so it had no electrical or vacuum on the engine, and the hood was burnt. I picked up a Chilton's manual from the library, and reran new electrical and vacuum from diagrams out of the book. Then I drove it through all of high school and 1/2 of college. I put almost 100k on it just myself. When I sold it, it had 170k, leaked about a quart a month, and burned about another quart a month. It was pretty beat up, and I figured it would cost me more time and money to try to sell it then what it was worth, so I sold it to a scrap yard for $75.

My first vehicle, given to me by my grandparents (who was willed to them from one of my great grandparents when they passed), was a 1979 Ford LTD. This is not a picture of the actual car, but this is identical in every way to the car I drove back then.

Had that from sophomore year of high school (ish) until my senior year in high school.
