Pics of the lvl kit? IDK
Every stock off road edition ram that I have ever seen came with 275x70x17 from the factory (not that it matters anymore). I dont think the dealer knew what they were talking about when they said 245's.
ok, one, I dont see the extra webbing around his front differential... it looks just like mine... two, those blocks on his rear leaf springs, are the exact same blocks I have on my dodge. 3, he has 4 leaf springs and an overload spring in the rear, that would mean he has either an add a leaf, or an off road edition... I could almost see the add a leaf being more likely though with how much his front end sits lower than his rear end, the off road editions usually were more level than the regular edition werent they?? At least thats what I always recall seeing... I would like to know the tag numbers on his differential to see what it really is once and for all to be able to figure this mystery out :P
I think you need to call a new dealer! Have them print it out and go and pick it up from them. Or if you have a lmc truck catalog they have a vin number break down in the front of the catalog.

1. Look hard, its there.
2. Like I stated before, all 2nd gen Dodges came with these.
3. Exactly, which is another reason to believe its an off road. And the off road's came with same same rake the regular ones did.
Assuming it's the off road, rims/tires were probably removed because it was cheaper to replace 16" tires then 17's. My truck had the same rims as yours does now when I got it, it's not an off road, but I love the off road rims. I bought my off road rims from a guy who lifted his and put 20's on. I have seen where guys had the rims on craigslist and the reason for selling was it was cheaper to replace the tires on 16's.
