Truck wont go over 20
how would it not affect performance in the slightest? if it doesnt affect performance, then what is even the purpose of having one? im pretty sure the pcm takes readings from all o2 sensors to decide how to run the vehicle. yet again, i dont even have a 2nd o2 sensor, so i can't really say much
Well got up this morning and went and got a 3 foot pipe.
I cut the exhuast off about 2 feet or so from the cat and took out both o2 sensors.
I then put the pipe in and hit it with a hammer til i got through the honeycomb insides.
Did this as much as i could until i couldnt reach anymore honeycomb pieces.
I turned truck on and reved her up a few times and turned it off to break more out. did this like 3 times.
I drove the truck for a while to make sure all got out.
You were right. i love the sound. So i took a 2.5 inch angle pipe with a 90 degree angle in it that i had in the garage and i cut it down and i put it right on where i cut the exhust.
Sounds BAD TO THE BONE.
I put both o2 sensors back and get no CEL.
Im sure everyone will like me more now that the truck is louder and i leave Mon-Fri at 6:30 am
Thanks for all the help
