Default difference between 46re and 46rh

from what i read its the valve bodies that are differnt ones electrical ones hydraulic. right? other than that they are all the same?

Be carefull though if you are considering a swap, I think the electrical connectors are different/ you don't use as many and it may screw with the computer to try and swap it

im puting a 07 hemi in my 96 ram and would like to know if i can use my 46re tranny or do i need a 46rh and if i need a rh can i be trund my re in to a rh

Wouldnt you need a 545RFE with the 07 Hemi engine?

Yup and yup. The 46RE/RH will not bolt up to any of the newer Hemi engines. You basically need an entire donor vehicle, with an entire drivetrain and electrical components, like that PCM and wiring.

well xv moteorsports makes a carb kit for the hemi and a 46rh/re is the same bolt paert as a 727 and thay make the adapter kit soo back to what i origonly ask

You need to use an RE in a 96. And ONLY one from a 96 or 97.
