Yeah my radio fix works pretty good too. I have the same problem (tried Monroes as well as Ranchos), as well as my buddies brother's 98. We both switched to Ranchos and have it, and its the size of the metal sleve on the bottom (will probably be top and bottom on the rear), not the bolt being lose. Maybe something to do with the difference between a metric bolt and a standard sized sleve? Who knows. I'm going to put 2 inch spacers up front when they get here, and I'm going to find a proper sized bolt to fit the sleve properly.

I think I have this rancho problem with one of my front shocks. I have a banging, thought it was a ball joint, turns up being the lower shock mount/sleave being the wrong. I have it torqued to spec, so I know it's tight. I plan on takingth eshock off, sending it back to rancho and getting another one. The driver's side fits just fine, they are the same part number, so I dont' see why one shock has a different eyelet then the other.
