Alright perfect, I work part time at a garage so throwing it on the hoist to do this will be no problem.

i changed out mine without penetrating fluid. The broken side took me about 45 minutes (had trouble getting the leaf down from the bed.

Changed the other side since it was hollow in the middle and that took me less than a 1/2 hour.....they are very easy to change. A big wrench (forgot size) and my 1/2 in breaker knocked all the bolts right out...and like i said i never used any PB or anything

I had the same thing happen to me only i cracked one of the leafs from the pack too along with the shackle. I went to a local spring shop and got a replacement leaf put into the leaf pack as well as new u bolts and the shackle for $125.xx. this spring shop was mainly a semi/commerical truck spring shop but they play with light duty stuff too.

WEll both of the leafs on my Ram are bad and had to order new ones. Got a email today stating they are on back order. Just found a place that will maych the price beat it + for orders or 200 take 20.00 dollars off, but at this point haven't looked at the shackles, but after reading this tread will look at them tomorrow morning
