I'm pissed...

Edelbrock IAS performer shocks, don't buy them. 25~30K miles and they're shot. Unbelieveable at $94 a shock.

I really liked them when they worked, anybody got other recommendations?

I have used Monroe's for years, and never had a problem. Keep the receipt, life time warranty.

Monroe Reflex or Bilsteins. Those are going to be my two choices when it comes time for another set myself.

several years ago i used some Monroe gas magnum's that were pretty good.
i see that rockauto has a closeout on them for about $20 each
also, there is a rebate offer on the others.

Gas magnums are what I have on my Ram and the 88 Dakota.

Bilstiens all the way. Best value. If you got money, cause we know your loaded, you can't beat Fox resvoir shocks. All the crawlers around here run em and if they don't, the got Bilstiens. Billies are lifetime too.

I put Bilstein 5150s on the rear and they seem to be pretty good. I'm putting back on a set of Trailmaster SSVs up front. I really liked them on the stock setup and I'm now getting rid of my dual setup in the front so I just got some new ones.
Are you lifted? If you're stock, I have a brand new SSV for a stock suspension that I had as a spare.

I actually have them on my Mustang, been on there for like 35 years! LOL Still work great, but the car sees next to nothing for miles a year, and some years no miles. LOL
