having it hard wired puts the wires out of sight and makes it so nothing can accidentally pull on them since they are really thin wires.

 

Just wire it into the tail lights like I want to when I get one.

 

My question is on the install of the actual light bar...I have a '95 and the spare tire winch port is right in the way of where the light bar would mount. Are the newer model trucks different, or do you have to remove that piece?
