Okay, I guess I win I installed the Airgap intake from Hughes about a month ago. For all of you people that doubt this intake or have negative things to say about it you need to install one and you will be amazed. As far as driveability the engine runs great and has absolutely no driveability issues. As for loosing low end torque absolutely not. As for getting 6mpg absolutely not. Now for the good As I have said in other threads about this intake it is amazing, easy to install and performs awesome. Obviously it performs better at higher RPM that in what in intake mod is designed to do. 2500 rpm's and up and it is like a different truck. I have driven the Hemi Quad cab and to compare it accelerates just as fast if not faster. It does give a deep growl and it's like having another gear, that is almost what it sounds like. MPG gain was maybe 1 combined not really enought to say it will pay for itself. I have not been able to do a long interstate run so when I do I will let everyone know. I would reccomend this over the Plenum fix if you plan on towing or owning the truck for a long time since it eliminates the Plenum all together. If anyone has any questions just let me know. By the way I would do it again.

It also is a complete kit, it has absolutely everything you need to do the install even good directions. I would recomend it over any other Intake if for nothing else then it comes complete.

Mines sittin in the garage. Need to finnish up my diff work after I blew the rear out. Hopefully the mega viper, 4.56s with detroit, F.I. Air gap, and 1.7's tie into together.
Planning on cleaning the injectors next week. Anybody remember where to send them for a sonic clean?

I can't wait to get those 1.7's in my truck. I plan on doing the gear upgrade as well but I am going with the 4.11's from Moes. I need to keep a little bit of mpg from the interstate.
