Default hughes intake

hi i was wondering what you guys thought about the Hughes intake manifold. i want to install one on my p/u but there are so damn expensive!! are they worth it?

what about a mopar performance manifold from summit. half the price. will it be half the performance gain?

as dodge15004x45.9 said, anyone a aftermarket manifold? what can you say about it?

That Hughes manifold is an Eddy carburated manifold that they retro fitted for MPI. KRC did a dyno comparison between it and the M1 (Mopar Performance manifold) a while back. IIRC, HP was the same and the Eddy had 6 ft/lbs more.

Either one is an improvement with a proper tune, but don't count on that added 6mpg lol.
