Question Will 305's fit on a stock Dodge Ram 1500?

Hey, I'm picking up a set of mickey thompson atz tires on saturday that are 305 65 17 with dc-1 wheels. Will they fit on my stock 1997 dodge ram 1500 4x4 or do i need to buy a leveling kit or a 3" lift kit

Im pretty sure they will not fit stock. I have 315s with a 3 inch body lift and they rub so you will need at least 2 inches of lift.

Mainly depends on the wheel width and backspacing, but either way you will most likely rub.

If they are 17x9 wheels it will most likely rub. If you were puting 33x12.5's on the stock rims you would have a chance, but I doubt it with the Cepeks.

They are 17x9 dick cepek dc-1's with 305 65 17 mickey thompson atz's. I'm thinking about buying the 3" lift kit from topgunzcustoms or a 2" coil spacer and 2" rear blocks or add-a-leafs. Would i be fine with either of these lifts?

You might scrape by (pun intended) with the 2 inch, but if the 3 inch lift comes with slightly longer arms, it would be better choice. The longer arms will move your axle forward so that the factory caster and suspesion arc will be maintained.

Would a 3" spacer and 1.5" block be enough to clear the 305's? I've researched online and saw a few dodge rams with a 2.5" spacer and add-a-leafs that clear 305's. I think i'll order this kit this weekend.

Yep, that sounds like a perfect setup to me.
