Engine Issue
OK guys. So I am losing coolant into my engine.
I've replace my head gaskets a month or so back, and no i didn't have them machined so, yes they could be warped or cracked.
I've replaced the water pump and timing chain so the front of the engine has new gaskets and all.
I did a compression test and all is good and pressure tested the cooling system and it held 13 psi no problem.
I re-did the intake since i was going to install the hughes kit anyways and that's only been a week. so the gaskets should be fine there.
So where or how am I losing coolant into the block? Cracked head, cracked block, open to any suggestions, I'm out of ideas.

Well the dipstick doesn't tell me much. The air breather on the driver side valve cover has water in it and the oil cap has some yellow stuff right on the bottom.
Is there something I can add to the coolant to possibly seal this leak?

for the love of God, dont put stop leak in your coolant system. thats only for emergencies IMO. i think they do however make a coolant dye or something of the sort, so you can see where its going.
Coolant dye is great and all, but how can I see it if the problems on the inside?

Just for the heck of it, is it possible I created my own problem by not getting the heads checks and machined and then torqued them in the wrong order?

OK. Would I notice any engine issues other than coolant lose if I had a cracked block or head? Just checking for more opinions.
I'm willing to do the heads again if that will solve the problem. I'm getting pretty good at pulling the heads. I get faster each time I do it. lol
