Sorry to resurrect an old thread,im new here. So what is the correct fix for these wild vents? I installed a vacuum canister with a cv that I saw by bamaram97 in another thread and am still having wild vents.

Isolate and correct the vacuum leak. Much easier said than done!

I just spent the last couple hours reading as many posts on wild vents as I could. Gonna try those 2 cv's. Another question, I have a code for system too rich. I've changed both O2 sensors,MAP sensor, plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor and PCV, and still have the code. Only other thing I've read it could be is a vacuum leak. Would the vacuum leak causing the wild vents also cause this or is that a separate issue?

Default Wild vents fixed cruise still not working.

I finally got the vents working right. What I did was I checked the lines which seemed to be good and then replaced both check valves but it made no difference. Then I got a GM vacuum reservoir with a built in check valve and swapped it out with one of the tiny Dodge check valves. That did the trick for my vents which work fine now but the cruise control still doesn't work. The vacuum line for the cruise was broken down by the servo so I clipped off the bad part and hooked it back up but it still doesn't work. Any ideas or suggestions?

You still have a leak somewhere. There's only so many lines and valves so they all have to be checked.

So yep you either have a vacuum leak or bad servo. Could possibly be the switches to. I would guess vacuum leak
