DIY governor pressure sensor, solenoid install
Might be nice if you added what year your truck is(all info about it actually) to your sig. They are NOT ALL the same. Some years require removal of the Gov body to remove the sensor.
it has become quite the common upgrade on the dodge trucks.

I'm a new member here thanks for having me, I have a 99 and 2001 Ram 1500's.
With that out of the way, I need to replace my GPS and solenoid, I called the trans shop I have used for 35 yrs and asked them to sell me the parts, he said just call Chrysler, they do not install aftermarket sensors or solenoids because of the failures they have had over the years. I know this tech personally and I don't think he is BSing me.
Is there a vendor that you guys are buying these parts from that you are confident in there parts reliability?
thanks.
Jeff
