Air cleaner ?'s
I see a lot of you run the regular old chrome air cleaners on your trucks and I was thinking about doing the same. Question is, I have a throttle body spacer on mine like many of you and wondered if a regular chrome air cleaner would fit? Also, is the throttle body the same diameter as a 4 barrel carb? I dont wheel my truck and my stock air intake stuff is all cracked and taped and figured this would be an economical option to a FIPK. Thanks
OP, to answer your ?, yes the diameter is the same as a standard 4 bbl carb (5-1/8 inch). I would also ditch the TB spacer and it will make the install easier.
