I found a set at Advance Auto for 20 bucks that fit perfectly in the stock location. They are some off brand but have been workin just fine. I went through two sets of those Pilot lights on my other truck but I think it was because they were mounted so low and were constantly taking the brunt of the road grime.

Well if you are interested here is the thread I made when I did mine: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...l-options.html
Total cost was around $60.00 for all of it.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. That was the first time I have ever done anything like that. Just make sure you get some Tack Cloth at your parts store. And use it between coats, and during sanding. That will keep contaminates off of the paint layers.
I started with 320 grit, then 600, then 1000 on the primer grill that I got from pershing. Then laid down the adhesion promoter, let it dry for 15 min. Then put three coats of white primer down let dry for 15 min between coats. Then put 5 layers of red paint down waiting 15 min in between those. Let cure over night, and installed the next morning. Also I did wait for 30 days before I waxed it.

Laramie You da Man!! I read the thread and I now have my next project so if I get stuck expect a PM from me. The best part is I have a Certifit about 10 minutes from my work. 30 min from my house. My truck is Black so hopefully theirs is as well When I installed my Bug deflector I pushed too hard on it and go the cursed bubbles in the "chrome" (as I chuckle) I was going to buy a new one but never had the $$ but for $20 I like the black grille anyway. They even have parts for my wifes Taurus I need to replace. If you have Any good contacts where I can buy the spare tire adapter key? Or the glove box for my 01 Ram 1500 let me know. I bought my truck used need to replace a few cosmetic things inside. I also want to install a rear sliding window but those must be made of GOLD all I can find are $300+. I'm going to attempt the Grill this weekend. BTW where did you buy they paint Wally world or is it automotive paint?
Again Great thread Thanks

I used Duplicolor paint match. Almost every auto parts store has it. It should list the equivalent paint codes on the can.

I reccomend that you still at least sand it down with 1000 grit to remove the gloss finish that is on it. Or at least mine had a glossy finish.
