Unhappy stumped-help guys

so way back when.. when i was on here talkin about my belt slippin once and awhile then thought it worked itself out.. well its back.. i traced it down that when it does it.. theres actually coolant.. sprayin on the right frame rail, and a little on the belt.. only problem is.. it doesnt do it often.. very rare.. second off.. its a pretty good amount.. we caught about a small cup full, and like i said. its sparatic. we checked all the lines.. they seem ok and have fluid in them.. couldnt locate a pin hole. truck never over heats and never passes 200. lastly.. we checked my water pump.. we know thats working bcuz the truck doesnt over heat.. doesnt look like its spraying from there.. heads look ok too.. and its just the right side.. and again sparatic. we are completely stumped. did it once.. we checked everything.. started the truck let it run for about 20 mins.. and it completely stopped and dried up.

any ideas? thanks in advance.

So when you checked your water pump, you removed it?
If that's what you did, I would guess you had a bad seal and you corrected it when you reinstalled the pump.

rent a pressure tester for the cooling system. If you can't get it for free at autozone, then you can rent one from a tool rental company for about 8 bucks a day. that will aid in finding your answer. Best of luck.

how old is your water pump. if > 5 years, then that would be my first guess, otherwise maybe a hose leak. how old are the hoses. sometimes a leak is most visible after running the truck up to temp and then shutting it off. temp and pressure will build a little more after its shut down.

we didnt remove the pump, and the pump was new when i bought it.. i replaced it with all new seals gaskets etc. we did pressure test it last night that all looked fine too. i guess my next step is ill order a new set of hoses from jegs and just replace all of them. hopefully that solves the problem...

Just curious as to why you would order them from Jeg's? And not just go down to your local parts store or get them from rock auto since you want to order online anyway.

Did you check the bypass hose? One of the clamps could be coming loose.
