Driving too fast will not cause your tread to seperate unless you are driving more than the speed rating at the maximum load of the tire for more than an hour. In a dodge truck that is not realistic. Under inflation will damage the sidewall, not the tread. The other thing that causes tread seps is improperly repaired tires. Water can cause the belts to rust and then they will come apart.
