Firstoff, let me say that I gave up on SSBC's kit. I ended up putting the drums back on, after several attempts to correct the growling noise (I was very pissed off). The noise was the vibration of the caliper resonating thru the rearend as the pads were dragging along the rotor. The caliper had the E-brake built into it, so the pistion only retracted about 1/16". With such a small amount of movement it tends to drag worse than your typical caliper. In a nutshell, the mounting brackets were just too flimsy and I wasn't interested in making new ones for that price. Its going back to Summit with a nasty note in the box.

As far as the pressure goes, drum brakes require about 600PSI while rear disc require 1200. SSBC had you remove the end nut, then the spring, from the half of the distribution block which fed the rear brakes. This will allow an unrestricted amount of fluid to get to the rear brakes.
