I'm running Aussie Lockers. Not much mileage on them yet since it's not my DD anymore. In the old 7.5 I was running a used Lock-Right from a guy who abuses his rigs, I drove 1000 miles a month with it, for nearly 2 years when I actually broke the cross-pin (7.5 was never meant to handle a 4.0 or 33s combined with my right foot) and it took out the locker too.
Detroit is really the way to go for strength and longevity, they just cost a pretty penny. I wouldn't use one (detroit) up front though, break a shaft and it almost always takes the locker with it.

Probably an Aussie locker, from what I hear most guys that break shafts don't take out the Aussie with them, but if you do, it's 4 pin/springs that are cheaply and easily replaced.

I wish I could remember what I paid. I got a Eaton posi, new 4.10's, chrome cover all installed and that good stuff. I had a small leak called them up. Guy said bring it over. They threw it on the lift and fixed it while I watched. The guys will stand there and bs with ya. I was happy with the work they did

That's good to know. I've called probably 8 or 10 places around here in the past month, and most of the people I've talked too have been downright rude and condescending. I mean, I know I'm only 21, and I don't know everything about vehicles, but I didn't call and act like a dick to them. You would think most shops would be glad to get someone looking to drop $1400, especially in this economic situation. Ok, I'm done ranting now.
