Default How do you reset the PCM?

I think you just unhook the battery for a few minutes, but I'm not sure. I'm about to start the whole plenum fix and heard that you need to do that sometimes with the modded kegger.

Actually, disconnecting the battery alone may not be enough. Once disconnected, you need to turn the ignition key for a few seconds (official recommendation is 20-30 seconds) to discharge the memory module.

Once again, please do not post if you don't actually know the answer. I've been watching your posts lately, and you like to act like you have all the answers, but your wrong most of the time, and are not talking from your own expereince the rest of the time. Don't make us start calling you Neon.

Well as far as I knew that was all that needed to be done. I'm felling the ban hammer. I'm going to get off for now.

I'm not going to ban you (yet), so relax. I just want you to start using some care when you respond. If you're not 100% sure of the answer, or don't have any real experience with it, then hold off on your response. Or at least don't make it sound like your answer is the gospel. I'm not going to sit here while bad advice or half information is given out. That defeats the purpose of having this forum for people to come to to get help with their problems.

How long does it usually take for the PCM to relearn the trucks operation?

About 1 tank of gas seems to be the average.
