Superchips Flashpack
I am wantin to get more power out of my dodge and i am seriously looking at the superchips flashpack. I also need it to recalibrate the speedo. Wondering if it is worth the money?
Yea. I don't have one but I will soon. Most ppl say just got to 93 tune and not to mess around with the lower power levels. It will also fix the death flash which you have. There are a few right ups about them look at the top of the page and click on the search link.
Since you have the death flash, it's definitely worth getting. If you don't know what the death flash is, just do a forum search on it and it'll convince you that you need the Superchips or some tuner.
If you don't plan on major modifications/upgrades to your engine (different cam, supercharger, different heads, and/or etc. etc.), just mostly bolt-on type upgrades or less, the Superchips Flashpaq is fine. The newest unit that fits our trucks is the 3865, but you can also find the slightly older 3815s for sale for a bit less, especially if you can find them used. They both accomplish the same thing, the 3865 just is a tad nicer with brighter, color screen and supposedly slightly easier navigation. (It also covers more Dodge models than the 3815 did.)
If you plan on major upgrades/modifications, then the SCT's XCalibrator 2, with custom designed computer flashes, is where its at.

ight....i did some readin on the so called death flash but, dont exactly get it. since im runnin 315's why would the truck be loosin power?i think im runnin 4.11's in the rear so the gearing isnt bad.
It has nothing to do with tires or gears. Its a timing change in the pcm. I think its more of a don't feel it till you get a tuner and get rid of it kinda deal.
Does your pcm have a flash sticker on it?

No offense intended, but how do you know you have 4.10s?
Is your Ram an Off Road edition? Have you or a previous owner upgraded your gearing to 4.10?
If not, you don't have it. Off Road editions were the only ones to come with 4.10s from the factory. If its not an Off Road and you/previous owner didn't do it, then its either 3.55 or 3.92 gearing.
