thanks,
I'll tell the guy 6 hrs at of course half the labor rate. my brother has the tool so no worries. guy called the shop here in philly for an estimate and they told him around $650 for both sides. thanks alot for the info. and you don't have to take off the axle nut to remove the axle , just take out the bearing and axle together.
