Thumbs up Paint Match Grill

Well I followed Laramie's guidance and changed the chrome grill for a paint match one.
Amazing difference for only $40 total investment. The main error I made was once I removed the Ram insert in the fron I pulled the silicone from the back so I could re-attach it
(yeah stupid me) well as you probably guessed already it pealed the chrome off from the inside of the Ram but fortunately it just slips in and is hardly noticable. I'll look at a salvage yard and get a replacement Dodge wants $30 for a new one.

what do you think?

I want to paint my grill as well... how did you match the blacks? I am assuming your truck is black... thats what it looks like anyways. Did you have to order the paint?

Looks damn slick I wouldn't worry about the silicone in the grill to re attach the old emblem. Go to your parts store, and pick up some plastic super glue. Works great.
Oh, and if you need a replacement emblem down the road, I think that LMC truck has them for like 15 or less.

I'm hoping if I water my tires and wheels enough they'll grow into them
I loke the look of the flares at first but I'm planning on removing them for teh more stock flares or fiberglass ones.

I'm definatly going for a chrome grille (no offense, just not my style; A black truck is what I wanted to see it on).

I got the duplicote fron O'reiley's it is the T100 universal black. I tested it un the fender well and it matched exactly so I went with it.
Laramie1997 had a thread I followed his suggestions on the paint and primer procedures hopefully I can avoid his car washes. I applied three coats of clearcoat and hopefully it will adhere.

Laramie as stated previously I followed your directions on your previous thread when you did yours. As far as the emblem what is LMC Truck? I may take you up on it. I reapplied it and you couldn't tell if if you didn't now it. I may get another one just in case
