i was just wondering if anyone has ever seen or heard a 5.2L with a stack as an exhaust tip? my friend is going single stack on his truck instead of duals, he has a 6 inch miter cut and i was going to buy his extra and run 3 inch pipe to the stack and just use it as a beaslty tip.. would that sound good?
Yes, stacks belong on diesels!!!!!!!!!!!
There used to be a Turquoise Chevy that had dual 2.25'' stacks in the rear. I think the rednecks burned it when Lawrenceburg Speedway opened.
The last set of stacks I saw on a truck was an old 78 chevy gas burner. It seemed to fit it, but I think that was mainly due to the fact that it was bruning oil and smoking.... Personally, I dont think stacks look good on any truck except for semis or if your driving a bad azz diesel that literally flames out the exhaust from the temps.....
there was a 90s S10 like Purpls cept in crappy shape, had dual 5 inch bull haulers, looked kinda dumb
now on my Kenworth, i want to run dual 6 inchers, no mufflers, and angle the tips toward the trailer, keep the whole system just taller than the cab
well, then that wouldnt be too bad.....would prob sound pretty mean, theres a chevy that i saw the other day that had dual 5" or so tips on it.........wasnt able to hear it tho....how long do you want it to be? too short and it wont do much and too long and itll mellow it out.......id say about 12"
