I also put in a 2 inch add a leaf right after i bought the lift.

So i was wondering if i could order a 5.5 inch lift block and a 2 inch coil spacer??

total 7 inch front7.5 rear...

Would i need to change shocks???,,,,,,Drive shaft?????

Stacking That many blocks sounds scary to me! If I were you I would look into new leafs. Shocks odds are yes you will need new ones and If you don't have an index ring I would get one. Why not get a body lift?

While I also don't like the idea of stacking blocks if you aren't going to do some serious offroading where you would subject your springs to moderate to severe axle wrap then the two blocks(factory and 5.5" block) won't be that bad. Guys I think if I am reading this right he means he is going to take out the 4" block he put in with his first lift and install a 5.5" block on top of his factory block. If it is a shine and show machine and doesn't have a ridiculous amount of power then he should be fine. If real offroading is in mind then bad things most likely will happen at the most inconvenient time. That is when you should definitely consider new rear springs that will give you the right height. Don't bother with trying to have your springs arched either because I am sure they have lots of miles on them and the will lose that new arch at a faster rate than you would think. Been there, done that. You would be happier with new springs I am sure.

Should be able to get the rear springs alone through Rough country or another dealer like that for around 350 to 400. that's what I did when my second set of superlift springs broke(made in indonesia).

I think from his first post he is trying to make up 7/7.5 overall with the parts he has now and the other components he is lookin at. The kit you are suggesting would be the "right" way to go but we all seem to have that redneck approach to modifying our trucks.lol

i geet nervous when i see 6" of block or more, forget about 8.5" of stacked block. this puts way too much leaverage on your springs, acceleration will wrap the spring and braking will feel mushy, at least install an anti-wrap bar if you arent going to ditch some block.

When you get into 7" lift territory, you need to start looking at long arms for the front, Transfer case indexing , possible driveshaft mods. Look at the parts list in a skyjacker 7" kit, there is alot there. you could probobly get away with throwing it together with spacers and blocks, but IMO, there is a better way to go.
