I'd be curious if they can do any testing there then. Be interesting to see what they would come up with as well.

Looks cooler then the other one you bought.

Don't they have a salvage yard you can go to? Probably be cheaper. If the yard I'm heading to this weekend has e-fans, they are 30-40 bucks, should be able to get my radiator stuff for under 100. Man this is getting to be an expensive project...lol

Damn, that is cheap. Honestly haven't been to a yard in probably 10 years, so no clue what prices are anymore.

I bet a you-pull it yard will be cheaper than a yard that takes it off for you.

The problem is that most vehicles that end up in salvage yards have major front end damage. This makes finding things like radiators, fans, bumpers, grilles, etc. that aren't damaged very difficult.

The problem with you-pull it yards is that the vehicles are picked over by the time thay get to the yard. But we dont have any other yards near hear

The problem with some u-pulls is that they do not let anyone under the age of 18 in.
Thankfully there is one near me that allows me in, and has a good selection of Rams.

I just hope they have the radiator set up I want for testing. Fans will be here by the end of the week, and just bought a power supply to use for testing so I don't sacrifice my battery.

Not worried about the junk yard fan cost, should be able to get my money back out of them on craigslist. Haven't seen any newer electric fans on there yet, so have to wait and see what they go for when I try to sell them after the fact.

I put an ad on CL looking for a used radiator set up for a 5.9, only response I got was a salvage yard offering me one for a v10 for $200...lol...go figure.
