Just ordered V8 PLENUM REINFORCEMENT KIT, INTAKE GASKET KIT W/ BOLTS, and a UNDERDRIVE PULLEY SET. Is there any thing I should know befor I start. I do have a moded intake and TB. I will be getting the THERMOSTAT form a local store. What about the pulley set should I know anything. Any thing will help.

I don't know jack about the pulleys, other than I think they are a waste of money. As far as the plenum kit goes, you can't go wrong .Just follow the directions and torque the bolts correctly and you'll be good to go.

are you doing water pump and/or timing chain or just intake.
check the little water pump bypass hose while you can see it.
if its time for a tune up, this will be a good time to get at the distributor.

Is there a mod so you can get the THERMOSTAT out without taking off half the front of the engine

it'll come out. i've changed mine before w/o removing anything else. i leave the hose attached and sort of use it as a handle. if you can get it out the first time, then grind off the stupid tab.

it should come out. if it won't, remove that black triangular plate, and maybe unbolt the ac compressor out of the accy bracket.

you will have to remove all that $hit to get the intake out. have you seen this.

You have to remove one bracket, and the upper Radiator hose. People that tear the whole front end of the motor just for a stat change are complete idiots, unless they just like doing it.
