No c clips but you need a special tool to change the axle seals on them. Some of the guys on here have made their own axle seal tools. Try doing a search for the tool and you should come across it fairly easy.

here you go.
no c-clips.
axle is bolted in out at the hub.
special tool is required on the passenger side, drivers side is pretty straightforward except you have to remove the diff.

The axle is held in place by the hub bearing assembly and axle nut. You can pop the ball joints loose and pull the axle and knuckle all in one shot but it will be heavy as hell. The other option is to take off the axle nut then remove the knuckle then the axle shaft. Be aware that the axle may be left hand thread for the axle nut. Some are and some aren't.

I believe that there are dust seals at the ends of the main axle tube but I can't remember for sure and believe it or not i just had a bat in my house and the little sucker took me forever to take care of him.

Actually I broke the broom and cut my hand in the process. By "take care of him" I meant i killed his ***. think of what it takes to break a broom handle and imagine that I broke it when I hit him with the broom. Little rat with wings.

"That Tool" that everyone keeps talking about. I can't seem to find one anywhere unless there is a NAPA or Advance auto part number for it, nobody seems to know what I'm talking about. I know people have made their own but I will be paying for a cab to get to the store so i don't want to get the wrong things. Anyone help?
