I wonder if it wasn't the spray itself that bothered him much more than the smell? Does skunk spray just smell bad, or does it burn too? Especially the eyes and nose.

And if your dog ever skunks you truck it won't matter.
If I was you I'd quit showering for like a month and just drive everyone around me nuts haha...
It's really nice, especially when where you work is right next to a candle factory and from what I have heard the different scents mixing together get to be pretty bad. Originally Posted by Cereal Killer

Sorry to hear your dog still stinks. Chances are he'll look for something that stinks worse and then roll in it to try and cover up the smell...
Did you get that natures miracle stuff while you were at petco?
the spray smells so bad that it would knock a buzzard off a sh*t wagon at 50 yards, so i am thinking that it stings too....i called the vet last night as the dog was panting really hard and looked to be a little in distress, vet said the spray isn't toxic and after washing him for 30 minutes in warm water he started to calm down, but he was still totally miserableOriginally Posted by Cereal Killer

It now appears your only choice is to consume massive quantums of beer, beans, and tacos in an attempt to overpower the skunk funk.
I wish you luck...
