1997 5.2 tranny problem.

the manual says that when the tranny overheats it kicks out of overdrive and won't engage again till it cools off. that happened to me when i got my truck (on the way home from the dealer) and they changed the torque converter and it was fine for exactly 50000 miles, then screwed up again.
