I'm having the same issue with my 1996 1500. Turns out there is a pin hole in the nipple on the pressure regulator. Unless I can find a way to repair it, I may have to replace the entire fuel pump. I just can't justify replacing a perfectly good fuel pump. Has anyone had any experience with this? Any quick fix?

You can actually get the regulator by itself from the dealer.
