It's only been on two weeks, but, yes, I like it. It really was my only option because the TB on the V10 is mounted sideways. A round air cleaner would not fit.

would u have purchased the round air cleaner if the TB was on top instead of on the side.
sorry for all the questions but this is a major step for me in one of my motor mods so im just trying to get my facts staight

And have to deal with reinstalling the stock airbox every 2 years? Nope.

my round air cleaner is great and there is a noticeable gain. Not a lot but worth 40 bucks. Planning on getting the AEM dryflow filter some time this week (hopefully i dont have to order it)

I run an AirRaid 300 CAI. It was an improvement over the stock box, but its just a tube and a filter. I was considering going to a box type (FKIP or similar), But now i am going "round". And looking over the parts even thru mail order, its still a bit cheaper than most CAI's. Its all about bang for the buck right?

As a former FIPK owner, I can guarantee you will like the 14X3 much better. That way you'll have a bunch of money left over for other mods.
Plus the retro look is timeless and classic.

cai blows compared to the 14x3. mine cost 80 though because i got a k&n filter.
