Its a "WhatChMaCallIt" and it controls the "Thingy". Hope this helps.

A "WhatChMaCallIt" now that's what I have been referring to it as.But I always get the wrong parts .

Well the part that the speed sensor goes into is called the "speed sensor adapter."

Now just where to find one? My google fu seems weak today.

Went and picked up a adapter from the local parts yard got both the sensor and adapter for $37.50 trans it came off of was marked out of a 96 Dakota 5.9 auto. Hopefully this will work on my 96 1500 5.2 auto. Will find out after dinner.

Done worked great. Ball joints next. Exhaust after the cat kit comes in.

Have to give the helper props hes wanting to "go."
