I am not feeding the troll. I am just merely agreeing that that is probably the best investment you can make in an automotive aspect.

You must be as stupid as ********* said.

Buying yourself a good set off tools is the best thing you can do owning a Dodge. You will use them countless times and thank yourself when you dont have the money too pay the shop to do it. Take it from the 14YO who knows what the hell he is talking about. Anyways, will that lift kit pay for itself the first time you use it?

Ok mr I adjusted the tranny bands. It will pay for it self everyday when I get in the truck. The look is nice and the ground clear will be nice as well. I'm sick of hitting the t case skid plate. I do have some tool. A Husky 90 pice socket set and few dozen wrenches and hammers. . I need to get a Torque Wrenches.

I really thought you were going to come up with something good with the first sentance. But I forgot i was talking to you.....

How will the lift kit benefit you everyday? What you typed makes no sense to me. Dont you know that larger tires and a lifted truck cause things to wear out more!!
Lets add it up:
Ball Joints $300
Track Bar (Thuren fab) $300
Wheel Bearings $300
Lift kit $300
= $1200
Plus since you do not have the tools to do the maintnance, you would have to pay a shop to do it.

I am going to stop now. I really dont care at this point what you spend the money on, just as long as the **** kit is made in the United States of America, go for it. Just dont be a retard with a credit card.

instead of sinking all that money for a 3inch lift for all new parts /lift and labor/tools/gears/tires blah blah.

why not put some performance mods on, harland sharps, fastman, superchips, cat, shift kit, msd, headers ,it would prob save you money in the long run and you have a noticible power gain

then you will need to save for new tires

dodge,....... purpl, do you feel better?

I want to add one more thing, 90% of the time, people that add a lift are going to put on an aggressive tread type tire. That's great if you put about 5,000 miles a year on your truck, but if this is your daily driver, and you are going to pound hot pavement all day, you are going to be looking at a new set of tires every single year. Trust me when I tell you this, I just went through it.

The tires are fine. Yes mudders would be nice but the truck see more black top than mud. I'm not buying new tires! My friend is willing to help me out he has put one on his truck before. I don't need lager tire speed is running 265/75 with his 4" suspension and 3" body.

I have though about getting the tranny rebuilt. Its acting up now so all plans are on hold! I'm putting the money in the bank. I'm going to have to live with the cab lights and tail gate light bar for now. I'm waiting for montc to return my pm about it. Anyone got his email?

Mud tires are great, if you do a lot of mudding or off-roading. If you drive a lot of pavement miles get ready for a) increased wear, b) reduced gas mileage, c) low-speed vibration, d) more noise. That last one can be significant. Swampers and others that are designed for real mudding can howl unbelievably at highway speeds. I prefer to listen to my radio, thank you.
