Hi all, First post (questions)
First of all, this is not my truck, its my little sisters. Shes 22 years old. Its a 1994 dodge ram 2500 v10. Of course im from erie, pa so there is major rot, im currently doing the body work, and whatever it takes to get inspected. She was having problems with the radio cutting in and out, the windshield wipers arent working. They are blowing fuses instantly. ( i think thats just a bad wiper motor, not sure tho ) . And last but not least , the insturment gauges arent working, att all, no dash lights at all, i think the gas gauge is working, maybe its mechanical, or just stuck. well id really appreciate any responses, and im working on getting some pictures up, i have half of my metal work done. thanks all
P.s. i would appreciate any help diagnosing these issues, especially the dash cluster, thanks

Ok. The radio issue has been known to be the circuit board going bad. The wiper issue is probably just what you suggested. As far as the gauges go you might try and remove the dash bezel and take out the screws holding the cluster in and tilt it forward so that you can see the two plugs that go in the back of it and make sure they are seated correctly.
I have read of atleast one other member having an issue with his gauges that turned out to be the plugs weren't seated correctly. The only other thing would be that your instrument cluster has a bad tracer board on it or the cluster itself is bad.
hahaha thats pretty funny. But seriously.... is there anyway to test the computer , someone suggested maybe i messed it up by welding on it with out unhooking the battery. i sometimes forget when im patching up rust, for the body shop i work at. but i always keep my ground clamp close to my work, ( path of least resistance ) so i dont know, im stumped
Not sure if the key on off thing works for that year to read codes. If it will and you get "no bu5" its either the cluster or ther pcm going. Dodge worked on mine pulled the guages out then put them back in and they started working again

On a 94 there is no place to display codes. You have to get a code reader for that. 94-97 you're talking old school gauges, none of this fancy modern LED read out stuff. You gotta use your head to figure these puppies out.
