Talking Fuel Economy

I drive a 1998 Ram 2500 4x4 Ext. cab, 5 speed transmission, Dana 60 front and rear with 4.11 gearing. I get 12-13 MPG no matter what I do. Empty or max load. I'm interested in some "real world" numbers for the V10. I have the opportunity to purchase a 1996 2500 4x4 5 speed with a V10 for really cheap. Anybody got some numbers?
