Hey guys im new to the site and new to the dodge world as well. I have a 2000 dodge 2500 regular cab with a 360 in it. I'm happy with the truck but very dissapointed in the fuel economy it gets. Was just wonder what everyone else seems to get with their 360? I get like 13mpg

It's a big brute of a truck not a Honda. It will give you crappy mileage, but it was made when gas was around $1.50 if I remember correctly. That's the price you pay for the power to haul, and the power to run over Hondas. I have a 318, not much difference, but I wouldn't trade it for a Toyota.
gas was still 1$-1.15$ in 2000. it was right around the end of 01 that prices started creeping north.
But you forget that I live in California. Believe it or not, on the average we pay 30 to 40 cents more than the rest of the nation all the time. We pay for the privilege of living here. Not to mention the privilege of paying higher taxes, getting poor state services, congestion, bad air, bad roads, and the list goes on and on. I'm sure MiamiSon can attest to this.
