You can always pop the door open with a wedge enough to get something like an ateanna in there to hit the door lock button with.

Well, if that's the case, there are some alarm systems out there that have glass break sensors that will sound if the little microphones sense the sound of glass breaking.

Mine did too. I think those are out dated now. They have moved on to bigger and better things. I just got an 09 Mustang and it has the chip in the key, so it shouldn't be going anywhere without a programed key.

Yeah that's what I think. They stole some stereo stuff out of the Accord sitting right next to it. However, that car has a dead battery so maybe that's why they didn't mess with it. My truck they just took the stereo stuff. I had some nice screw drivers and wrenches in my truck and they left all that there and just took the electronics. However, they well we assume the same ones also took the neighbors Rav 4. Then this weekend I hear there were 5 cars stolen and several others broken into according to the news. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me and it's got me super paranoid.

Oh wow, so you did get hit. How bad? And, how did they get into the honda?
I would look into some motion lights, and glass breaker sensing alarms.

I'd start sleeping in shifts with your wife, and your neighbors for that matter, until their little crime spree is over.

Shotgun shell full of rock salt will change their minds about where to steal **** from. Or you could just shoot them with regular ammo, but it's probably kids. Might feel bad about shooting kids.

Honda was unlocked. However, the truck was locked so not sure how they got it opened. It doesn't appear to have had a slim jim used as there is no gap.

The Honda has a thing where when you lock it it wants to lock over and over and over. Since it wasn't much of value in it we just left it unlocked. They took a cheap Profile amp out of it. They left the Kicker sub that was worth a lot more than the amp and they left the head unit. So it didn't get hit too hard. The Kicker sub was in a homeade box that looked bad with no carpet so I'm wondering if that's why they left it as it was't in a box they could sell.

In the truck they took nicer stuff. Took the amp and the subs. They pried the trim ring off the of the H/U and took the faceplate off like they were trying to take it. However, I guess they couldn't get it out as they left it and just threw the face plate in the floor board. The trim ring had one of the 4 clips broken but it still stays on fine and the H/U still works fine. I got lucky they left the H/U.

I just feel lucky they left my truck sitting there and the car too. However, I want to make sure if they come back they don't get the truck.

We have the newer car in the garage but the truck wont fit so it has to sit outside.
