Default no codes

There were no codes . ck engine lt not on.

I don't know much about the scanner bit after checking codes they went to a screen the said on board nointor test, the next screen listed about 10 test that all said test 11 data, test 13 data though I think about #21 .
All passed the test except 11 & 13.. I wish I knew more , looking for a reason my truck quits in the middle of the road and ten minutes later starts and runs perfect. sometime for an hour, sometimes runs all day.

Not sure I understand what test you want me to do. As for state= Alabama.
I can borrow an obdll, but I only understand half of what I see. Decent old shade tree hot rod mechanic, a little lost when I get to the electronics, but trying to learn.
Any help/suggestions are appreciated. I am about ready to just start swapping parts.
I should mention that when the truck stalls the gauges on the dash all die as thought the key were off. After 10-15 minutes they will come back on then the truck will start and run fine. sometimes all day, sometimes stops again in a few minutes.

Thanks Bob

Two things to check. 1. TPS and 2. Battery. Both will cause the same symptoms.

Battery is new. changed it after this problem started. It was old and due for a change anyway.

Tps- checks ok when the truck runs, haven't been able to test anything when it quits , out on the road somewhere. I have had the obdll reader on it when it quits, but does no good because the second it quits the obd looses link to vehicle computer . when the truck comes back to life in 5-10 minutes there are no codes.
It acts as thought you cut the power to the pcm. everthing in the truck works except the dash gauges are dead , it turns over, will not start. after the few minutes turn the key the gauges pop up to life and it starts normal.

check all your grounds. my chev. did that to me all the time i had to push the darn thing all over the place because it would stall out of nowhere and could not get it to start. turns out all it was was a bad ground. edit* i did not read all of your last post but that is all the same things that happened to me.

all of my ground wire are in place and tight. Should I just replace them? wouldn't be hard to do. there are many under the hood and several under the dash.
I think I am going to the dealer this afternoon. NEVER taken any vehicle to a dealer before. Fixed myself or with the help of local mechanic, but surely the dealers have seen something like this before. I work from my truck and need it bad.
I know two of the dodge dealers have closed. I will have to call to see who's still open.

we will need to find out what monitors are not set .... lets get thru insp first...and hopefully that may answer drivability issue

An idea:
you have a code reader... it displays continous monitors ready/not ready....and gives you the $17 etc?
contact the manufacturer of scanner for legand - ie $17 is evap system monitor....

or borrow another scannner-

PS my first thoughts for just cuts out are
1)remote starter
2)ign switch
3)ASD relay-
