Well, I will recheck the torque in the morning, but I wouldn't think that this would be a problem, since this is the second set of shocks this truck has had on it. I will probably be shocked if it is the shock since they were all just impacted down. I wouldn't be surprised if they are well over 100ft#. It's going in for alignment on Thursday, and I will take another look see at the underside, maybe a hose or something flapping up and tapping.
Like I said, it apparently has always done this, but none if my passengers have ever said anything about it. Course, the passengers are usually either sitting in the center seat, or they have their feet on top of the dash.

Mine's is only on the passenger side, never the driver side! Well if i had my truck with me I'd check it, but its in the shop till August!!
