Thanks all,

As Far as my truck goes, that's on hold right now for obvious reasons, but I have been seeing some good deals on Craigs List. There's a black 5 speed I'm looking at, but not sure if I can deal with a manual. I mean what happens if my new foot breaks when I'm off somewhere? LOL

Thanks, I can't believe you read the whole thing LOL and I told you I wasn't going to get much sleep tonite. I'm going now to try again,LOL

And for anyone following this thread, last Sunday I got out of Mass General after a five day stint of chemo everyday. I took it like it was **** water and didn't even get the slightest bit of nausea,LOL. They don't know what to think, plus I crutch around the place all day, up,down,in,outside constantly. They can never find me,LMAO. BTW, I hate that F'n place now. Not the people just the building, chemo will do that to you

why the chemo still? i thought you were getting it for the off chance that the bone got some of the tumor, and i thought they took the foot to eliminate any chance of it spreading.
its good to hear that you're doing better, and that you have your eye on another ram.

WOW! Z-Man, I just read through this after your PM to me. I hate it when amputees post pics of post surgical operation sites as it gives me the *******. Granted, I've had my own brush with cancer in the past and lucked out by not having chemo. I was diagnosed and treated for testicular cancer when I was 22 and a few weeks later, on my 23rd birthday, I was gutted like a fish for a RetroPeritoneal Lymph Node Dissection. The entire operation took about 5 hours, with closing taking the longest. A few years ago, a chiropractor x-rayed my midsection and was stunned by the series of surgical staples still in my abdomen (it looks like a railroad track like).

Props to ya, and I hope you make it through with this thing beat.

The chemo is to kill any microscopic cells that may have traveled anywhere else in my body from the ankle.
