OT I know , but last week I read or replied to a thread and noticed in one of the other replies, a 2nd gen member mentioned he had ankle surgery coming up. First of all, I'd like to apologize for being so rude as to not remember that members name. And second, I would like to talk to that member about it. So, who are you?

that would be me!! my ankles lean inward really bad im 21 and there getting worse and went to the doctors and they told me i need to get them fixed to be even agian. they said if i dont get them fixed soon that arthritis would be in my ankes and i would have no choice but to get them fused which means locking my ankles for good .

so i have to get both worked on, one at a time , they have to cut a bog notch out of my shin, and put on a "hoffman boot" which is a booth that has rods on the boot that goes threw the skin and threw the bone. and outside the boot has ***** and they turn the ***** which will move the bones in my ankes to hopefully make them even agian, there pretty much breaking my leg and ankle to fix it, im really scarred but i have no choice .

they say i will be out for 6 months each foot , so no driving my truck and no modding for a year, its going to suck, i will be stuck at home and you guys will see alot of me on here with nothing to do .

I had surgery last Friday to fix an ankle fusion that didn't take. Had two screws removed and 3 new, larger ones installed. Bone taken from my shin to graft the joint that is filled with arthritis and no longer manageable.

 

do you have fiborous displaysa??, i have that its a bone disease it was really visible in my hands had them fixed when i was younger they do look alot better now its a rare disease alot of people dont have it .

my ankles arnt like that i was born with crooked ankles
