Aim thanks. I'll probably just stick with the 2 guages then.

dodgeram07 I have ghetto horns like sheriff and you. I had them in my Toyota and my ram with the compressor mounted laying down and never had a problem. The only issue I had was the plastic splitter broke. I made a heavy duty one out of a 4 way pipe fitting and hose fittings lol. When people see it they are like is that really necessary

dodgeram07 i have a different compressor than yours and the instructions didn't say anything about it having to be standing up or laying down. that does look pretty good like you have it but i just used the mounts that came with the kit and holes that were already in the fender.

bluebeast2 you calling my horns ghetto? i laid down 30 big ones for those things, thats high class right there.

96rumbledodge i took out my high tone factory horn and connected its wires to the relay for the horns. when you hit the horn that wire gets power then the compressor gets power then its road runner time.

i found out that the proper name for the compressor is a direct drive compressor by the way.

wasn't this an aftermarket gauges thread? what happened?

i looked at the ooga horn but i figured it wouldn't be loud enough. i want one that'll make a turtle head pop up and say hello like a train horn would.

For some reason I thought that was a volunteer fire dept. you were talking about? That looks like a professional fire dept, not volunteers.

We are all professionals. Do you think a paid station's trucks look different then a volunteer station's trucks?

We are a volunteer company. www.parkesburgfire.com
