I also have the book Maximum boost, by corky bell(I think that's the author) working my way through that.

So at the minimum I'm looking at is forged pistons and a better roller camshaft? Also mod the plenum gasket. What else should I do? Don't want what happened to the guy in the vid I only have one truck!

I work in a machine shop so I have access to everything I need to make all the turbo components I need.

Thanks for the help, it's appreciated

i would say the biggest things to look at would be: a fuel system that can efficiantly deliver the fuel, gaskets to hold in the boost and an ecm tune so the engine never runs lean.

as long as you can keep the A/F ratios in the sweet spot, you shouldnt run into too many problems. but thats easier said than done.

Let's not forget, you are going to need a tuning solution. The only tuner that is going to be able to do what you need is one from SCT. You can PM Hemifever on here, and he should be able to get you a decent buy.

Personally, I have seen the stock internals do OKAY on 2-3 PSI. Any more than that, you are going to have a block that looks like the one in that vid.
