Default Ram Tough (Proof)

Well for my birthday this year I get a new Bumper the best part is I don't have to pay for it.
I got hit by a POS Nissan (I think). With the pictures you can see I cam out on top with the good 'ole Ram. I was pulling into the left turn lane whe I saw the main line of traffic was partin to let a car across to opposing traffic. I stopped so he could cross in front of me. When I realized he wasn't even looking at me and there were cars behind me preventing me from backing up I thought "Oh well what happens happens" When I hit my horn he just look at me and never stopped just turned left right into my left front. His car bounced off my bumper and pushed in the entire left side of his car any you can see it just pushed in my bumper and scared the plastic covers. Ironically I was planning on removing them to paint them. There was a cop in the parking lot that witnessed the whole thing. Ram 1, Nissan 0
I will give kudos to his insurance though (Progressive) the accident happened around 1:30 pm Saturday and they had me set up for an appointment on Monday at 0900 am. I had a check in my hand 30 minutes later. Let's just say I came out ahead

The same thing happened to me a few months ago. I replaced my factory bumper with something...a bit tougher

think about if he would have done that to me, the brush guard would have made the rams win a little more glorious.

Pfffttt. Take your ram up against a real car, like a 1972 Cadillac or Buick of that era and tell us what happened

I tried that with a concrete light pole base once. I was backing up about 5 mph and turned too sharp. My bumper didn't look so hot. Twisted it like aluminum foil.

Unless its a Buckstop or Ranch hand bumper, brush guards carry the damage into the rest of the ram.
Come to think of it...I had a bud hit a deer a few back His truck had a brush guard. As the main rails folded back into the grill and hood they acted as a guide and tossed the poor critter right into the windshield.

Thats a Toyota Celica.

Here is how my S-10 held up against a 6-point Buck. LIKE A ROCK!!!!!

Insurance deemed a total loss. I ****in hate insurance companies.
It will be missed. I love S-10s

Your wreck proves nothing about the "toughness" of a Dodge Truck. You hit a ****ing Toyota Celica with paper-thin sheetmetal fenders and unibody construction. This is stupid.
