Well my dads friend owns a detail shop so I did it there I took like 2 hours to buff it BUT IT WAS MY FIRST TIME. I used 3m perfect-it 2 Rubbing Compound the number is 05973 with a Circular buffer. BUT BE CAREFUL YOU CAN BURN THE PAINT but if you keep it moving you will be just fine. After I buffed the whole truck I washed and dried it. Then I waxed with mothers California Gold wax I am very happy with the results.
PS: you can get a Dual Action Orbital buffer that will not burn the paint but it will not do as good of a job if you want to watch some videos of buffing go to this site http://autogeek.net/bupo.html This is all the buffers thay have
This is a guide for Circular/ Rotary buffing http://autogeek.net/buffer-polisher.html
